In case of diabetic patient, due to the absence of insulin, glucose cannot be absorbed in the cells and as a result it remains in the blood causing high glucose in the blood.

Over time, the high level of glucose in the blood can cause other serious health disorders like cardiovascular diseases, kidney disease, and blindness, damage to blood vessels, stroke, and eventually death. There are two types of diabetes such as type 1 and type 2. Type 1 diabetes usually affects children and teenagers.
