Curing Excess Sweating with Ayurvedic Treatment

Sweating is normal and natural way to expel toxins from the body through the skin. However, excessive sweating is a cause of worry. It can be a very embarrassing situation, especially when you go out and work in a company. The body odor due to profuse sweating can cause people, friends or colleagues to move away from you. That alone is a good reason to cure excess sweating.

Excessive sweating is related to certain health problems. Normally, sweat appears during fever, exercise, hot weather, stress, anxiety, obesity and drinking alcohol. Excessive sweating can also cause due to certain ailments like menopause, high blood pressure, diabetes, hyperthyroidism, AIDS, and tuberculosis.

Normal sweating is a healthier way to remove the toxins from your body. If you think that you are sweating profusely, then there are some Ayurvedic plants to help you out to be free from this excessive sweating condition. The benefit of Ayurveda treatment is to cure any ailments in a natural way without any harmful side effects. This includes curing excess sweating.

Ashwagandha: If you are sweating excessively due to stress, anxiety, and tension, you can use this herb to cure you from certain emotional imbalance.

Sage: It helps in calming the nerve fibers that produces sweat. The decoction of sage leaves is very beneficial for suppressing perspiration. Add four tablespoon of sage leaves to two cups of water and boil it for about five minutes. Drink this after straining every morning. Sage can also be used in combination with the herbs like horsetail and valerian.

Horsetail: This herb is primarily used as a diuretic. It stimulates a better flow of urine and flushes out all the infections from the bladder without affecting the body. This is a help in curing excessive sweating.

Valerian roots: It is very useful in reducing the stress and anxiety. Ayurveda research shows that the extracts from its root will help a person to have an undisturbed sleep for prolonged period. Excessive sweat can also cause due to lack of sleep, stress, and anxiety.

Astragulus: Commonly known as shatavari is a better herb, especially for women. It takes care of all the health problems of women. Excess sweating can also be caused due to menopause. This herb helps in reducing and curing excess sweating and balances it.

White Peony root: White peony is a beautiful flower. The root of this plant is beneficial in treating abdominal pain, irregular mensus, and excess sweat in the night.

Schisandra berry: It has an astringent property that helps in reducing excess sweat in the night. It also reduces tiredness and sleep disturbances.

These ayurvedic plants may not be suitable for some people especially for pregnant women. Consult an Ayurvedic practitioner before you start using these natural herbs to cure excess sweating.
