Other causes can be due to neurologic injury, pregnancy, child birth, menopause, excess weight, birth defects, and ageing. It can also cause due to certain problems like weak or overactive bladder muscles, blockage, and damage of the nerves that help to control the bladder.

The muscles and nerves help to hold the urine in the bladder. The nerves take the signals from the brain to the bladder and sphincter. Then urine is brought out at the time you want to pass urine. If there is any damage or injury in the nerve, it can lead to uncontrollable leakage of urine.
