Control Your Diabetes with Ayurvedic Herbs

Diabetes is a health disorder. The number of diabetic patients is rapidly increasing in this world. Diabetes is a disease that needs to be treated in proper manner. Our daily intake of sugar is normally broken down into sugar, which is the glucose in our body. Insulin is a hormone that helps glucose to get into the cells. When the beta cells are not able to make insulin, the glucose cannot enter the cells; instead, the glucose circulates in blood. This disorder is called diabetes.

There are two types of diabetes – Type 1 and Type 2. Type 1 diabetes cannot produce insulin completely. Type 2 diabetes can produce insulin; however, the cells become resistant to it. In both the types of diabetes, the glucose cannot enter into the cells and as a result, the glucose floats in the blood. Depending on the severity of the diabetes, a person has to take medications to cure it.

If very high level of blood sugar is not treated, it can lead to certain other complications such as blindness, heart attacks, strokes, nerve damage, and problem in the limbs. These can be life threatening if not treated on time. Taking conventional medicines and capsules to control diabetes for longer period also can lead to other health problems due to the medicine’s side effects.

The cause of diabetes can be due to many reasons. Diet that includes more sugar, fats, rice, and potato, and lack of exercise is one of the devils behind diabetes. You can reduce the level of your blood sugar with the help of the following Ayurvedic herbs that effectively keep the diabetes under check and control.
